Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Consumption of Wool.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the total amount of raw wool used by our clothing industries, including hosiery, knitwear, and footwear, for each of the past two years.

The total amount of raw wool used in the industry was 8,032,000 lb. in the year 1948, and it is estimated that the quantity so used in 1949 was 7,371,000 lb.
