asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state when the piped water supply scheme for Ballinlough, County Roscommon, is likely to be completed, and if he will further state the causes of delay in completing the scheme and whether he can assist in any way in expediting its completion.

The Ballinlough water supply scheme has been completed, except for the installation of the pumping plant, and the extension to Garranlahan. Work on these two portions of the scheme is in progress.
