Vol. 123 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Income.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state (1) the total national income for the year ended 31st March, 1950, and (2) how the national income was shared between (a) wages, (b) salaries, (c) company profits, (d) profits of small traders, (e) rent, and (f) interest.

The particulars requested by the Deputy are not available. The preparation of final estimates for national income and expenditure for the years 1944-1949, which will contain for those years most of the information asked for in the question, is almost complete and the data will be issued in a very short time.
