Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grange Farm (Meath).

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the total acreage tilled and sown to crops on the Department's farm at Grange, County Meath, for the current year and the acreage sown to wheat, ymer barley and oats, and the average yield per acre for each crop harvested.

The total acreage tilled and sown to crops on this Department's farm at Grange, Dunsany, County Meath, for the current year was 126 statute acres. Of this amount 12 acres were sown to wheat, 14 acres to ymer barley and 62 acres to oats. The average yields per acre of these crops were as follows:—Wheat, 25 cwt. per statute acre; ymer barley, 42 cwt. per statute acre; oats, 19¼ cwt. per statute acre.
