asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of N.C.O.s in the Army with (a) over ten years', (b) over 15 years', (c) over 20 years' pensionable service.

The number of non-commissioned officers in Army service with qualifying service over ten, 15 or 20 years, respectively, towards gratuity or pension under the Defence Forces (Pensions) Scheme, 1937, as amended, is as follows:—

(a) With more than ten years' and less than 15 years' qualifying service

(b) With 15 years' and less than 20 years' qualifying service

(c) With 20 years' qualifying service and over
