Vol. 123 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Connemara Vocational School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware of the urgent necessity for a vocational school at Nahaille, South Connemara; and, if so, whether he will state the present position in regard to the erection of this school.

I am aware that a vocational school is required in the Cois Fhairrge area.

The County Galway Vocational Education Committee has applied for a special grant for the purpose, and a decision will be given as soon as possible.

The committee has already acquired a site for the school.
