Vol. 123 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commission Houses in Achill.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of Land Commission houses built during the past two years in the Achill area and the amount of grant given for this purpose.

Particular attention has already been devoted to the housing needs of the tenants in the Achill area, and there is now no serious housing problem there requiring special action by the Land Commission. The precise information sought in the question is not readily available, but the Deputy can take it that very few, if any, Land Commission tenants in the area are in need of new houses.
