The capacity of the cold storage accommodation in the country has been increased since 1948, but butter is only one of a number of commodities for which this accommodation is used. It will be observed that creamery butter production has increased by 42 per cent. since 1947 and the existing facilities are ample to deal with all the milk which is likely to become available.
