Following is the statement:—
The revenue derived from petrol as such is not separately recorded but is included under Mineral Hydrocarbon Light Oils (Tariff Ref. No. 164/1). The net receipts of duty under the latter head for the financial years 1944-45 to 1950-51 were as follows:—
