Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis-Offaly Old Age Pensioners.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether he can state in respect of Laoighis and Offaly the number of recipients of old age pensions and the number in receipt of the full pension.

The latest relevant statistics are for the last Friday of December, 1950. At that date there were 2,713 pensions under the Old Age Pensions Acts in payment in Laoighis, and 2,624 in Offaly. Of these the numbers being paid full pensions were 2,207 and 2,025, respectively.
