The offers of land in this district comprise detached areas which, in themselves, are not capable of economic development for afforestation. An effort will shortly be made by the forestry division to obtain additional offers in the hope of acquiring a compact economic block for the establishment of a forest centre. If a centre can be set up the question of acquiring the detached areas now on offer will be considered.
