Vol. 124 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unlicensed Lorry Owners.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the steps he intends to take to ensure that persons who used lorries and other vehicles during the recent rail strike for the carriage of goods without having the appropriate licence to do so will not now be prosecuted under the Road Transport Act, 1933, for the offence.

The question of whether these offences should be prosecuted is not a matter for me.
