Vol. 124 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dispensary Residence for Laoighis.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the present position regarding the provision of a dispensary residence for the Ballickmoyler dispensary district, Laoighis, and what steps have been taken by the Laoighis County Council for the acquisition of a site.

Laoighis County Council submitted various proposals to me regarding the dispensary services in Ballickmoyler dispensary district, one of them being the provision of a residence in the district. Having considered their proposals, I informed the local authority that they might proceed with the erection of a residence in the vicinity of the village of Ballickmoyler. In their letters of the 8th and 13th February, 1951, the local authority submitted details of a particular site, which they considered suitable, and the matter is at present under consideration in the Department.
