Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Butter Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the comparative prices paid by Great Britain for Irish and Danish butter for each of the years 1934 to 1939 inclusive.

The average f.o.b. prices of Irish butter exported to Great Britain during the years from 1934 to 1939 inclusive were as follows:— 1934, 51/3 per cwt.; 1935, 60/5d. per cwt.; 1936, 72/7 per cwt.; 1937, 80/- per cwt.; 1938, 114/8 per cwt.; 1939, 119/4 per cwt.

The prices paid by Great Britain for Danish butter do not fall within my province.
