Vol. 125 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - North Dublin Telephone Service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that a better telephone service is required by subscribers through the Ballyboughal exchange; and, if so, whether he will arrange to have this service improved by the provision of an extra line from Ballyboughal to Swords.

Two additional lines, making three in all, were provided between Ballyboughal and Swords on the 28th April. In addition, an automatic exchange was opened at Swords on the same date. The operator at Ballyboughal can now dial calls to Swords, Malahide, Dublin and Dún Laoghaire.
