Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary Sewerage Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in having the proposed sewerage scheme for Cahir, County Tipperary S.R., carried out.

The provision of an improved sewerage scheme for Cahir is a matter for Tipperary (S.R.) County Council. Such a scheme has not been included in the priority list of the more urgent sanitation works needed in the county, which has been adopted by the county council on the advice of the county medical officer.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in having the proposed sewerage scheme for Ardfinnan, County Tipperary, carried out.

Plans for this scheme have been approved and the submission of contract documents is awaited.
