Vol. 126 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - E.C.A. Technical Assistance Scheme.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is proposed to send a delegation representing employers and employees to the U.S.A. under the E.C.A. technical assistance scheme; and, if so, if he will state the personnel of the delegation.

It is expected that a delegation consisting of employers' and workers' representatives will travel to the United States in the autumn to study labour relations and industrial productivity under the E.C.A. technical assistance programme. The personnel of the delegation has not yet been finally decided upon.

Could the Minister say what the number of the delegation will be?

He will probably send James.

There will be four employers' representatives and 12 trade unionists.

Thank you.
