asked the Minister for Justice if he will state (1) if three members of the Twelfth Dáil who were Parliamentary Secretaries during that period, used or were allowed to use State cars during the 1948 general election; (2) if so, on whose authority this took place; (3) if financial recoupment was demanded and the amount in each case; (4) if this recoupment has been paid; (5) if not, if he will now demand that the Exchequer be recouped for this use of State property; (6) the names of the persons who used the cars, and (7) if State cars were allowed to, or used by Parliamentary Secretaries in the 1951 General Election.
