Vol. 126 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Car Registration Letters.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the motor-car registration numbers in some counties are nearing the 10,000 mark; and, if so, if he will state whether he is in a position to say what the new registration letters will be in respect of these counties.

It is not the practice to issue new index marks far in advance of their need as such a practice would be likely to cause confusion. They are issued in good time, however, as required.
