Vol. 126 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate the reasons for the delay in sanctioning plans prepared for the erection of 26 cottages at Balbriggan by Dublin County Council.

Following the submission of layout plans for this scheme at the end of December last, it was decided that it would be desirable to revise the layout to ensure that it would be properly co-ordinated with the future development of the balance of the site owned by the county council. This had to await an appointment to a vacancy in the personnel of the council's technical advisers. I am informed that new plans for the whole site are now under consideration.

Would the Minister say whether it is under consideration by his Department or by the council?

By the individual who has now been chosen to fill the vacancy to which I have referred.
