Vol. 127 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Great Northern Railway Bus Strike.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the continued inconvenience to the public, he will use his good offices to endeavour to settle the Great Northern Railway bus strike.

The Deputy is no doubt aware that a number of meetings have recently been held between the parties involved in the dispute, and I have no reason to believe that any difficulty prevents further meetings between them if either party so desires. The good offices of the Labour Court's conciliation staff will, of course, be available if required.
