Vol. 127 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Woollen Mill for Killorglin.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware of the outstanding case that can be made for the establishment of a woollen mill at Killorglin, County Kerry; and, if so, whether he is now in a position to make a definite statement in the matter.

The advantages claimed for Killorglin as a site for a woollen mill have already been noted, and will be brought to the notice of promoters of appropriate new industrial undertakings, but, as the Deputy is aware, I have no statutory power to direct an industry to a particular area.
