Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Great Northern Railway Shareholders.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the decision to take over the Great Northern Railway, he will arrange that compensation will be paid to the shareholders as soon as possible, if necessary, by the early introduction of proposals for legislation.

It is the intention to introduce, in due course, proposals for legislation to deal with the acquisition of the Great Northern Railway.
