Vol. 127 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tuam Milk Supply.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether, having regard to the serious and growing hardship being caused by the shortage in the milk supply to the town of Tuam, he will take appropriate steps to remedy the situation.

Mr. Walsh

I understand that the local authority is looking into the milk supply position in Tuam, and, whilst I have no official functions in the matter, my Department will give the local authority any assistance possible in obtaining supplies to relieve the present shortage.
