asked the Minister for Finance if he will say, with reference to each person at present in receipt of a pension under the provisions of the Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices Act, 1938 [38 of 1938], (1) the annual amount payable; and (2) the total amount received in each case up to date of last payment since the date of passing of the Act.

Particulars of the annual rates of pension and the amounts paid up to the 31st March, 1951, to persons at present in receipt of a pension under the provisions of the Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices Act, 1938 [No. 38 of 1938], as amended, are available at Accounts No. XVII and No. XVI, respectively, of the printed Finance Accounts for the years 1938-39 to 1944-45 and 1945-46 to 1950-51, inclusive.
The annual rates of pension and the payments made from 1st April, 1951, to 31st October, 1951, are set out in a tabular statement which I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report.
