Vol. 127 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Former National Health Insurance Society Agents.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state when it is proposed to extend to the former agents of the National Health Insurance Society, who are now employed in the Department of Social Welfare, the increases recommended for all grades of civil servants by the Civil Service Arbitration Board.

The question of extending the award of the Civil Service Arbitration Board to National Health Insurance Society agents has been considered and it has been decided in principle to do so. It is hoped to complete the adjustment of remuneration and the payment of arrears by the end of the month.
