Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Durrow (Offaly) National School.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state when it is proposed to construct shelters applied for at Durrow National School, Tullamore, County Offaly (Roll No. 17508), and if the work will be carried out immediately as it is considered most desirable.

A grant has been sanctioned by the Department towards the cost of providing two play-shelters at Durrow National School, Tullamore, County Offaly. The Commissioners of Public Works have issued the drawings and specification to the manager with instructions in regard to the invitation of tenders for the work.

When tenders have been obtained by the manager and have been examined by the commissioners they will communicate with the manager as regards the acceptance of a tender.
