Vol. 127 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fermoy Hospital Lighting.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state (a) if the emergency lighting set in Fermoy County Hospital is in working order and, if not, the reason; (b) the location of the present emergency lighting set and whether it is on a permanent stand or just temporarily housed, and (c) whether it is wired up with the Electricity Supply Board supply and ready for use in emergency.

I am informed that the mobile emergency lighting set in Fermoy County Hospital is in working order, that it is located temporarily in an out-building pending the erection of a new structure, and that it has not yet been connected with the wiring of the hospital but that negotiations are in progress with the Electricity Supply Board regarding the technical problems involved.
