Vol. 127 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Turbary Scheme.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the Land Commission divided turbary at Knockeenagown, Headford, County Kerry, in 1944, but did not complete drainage and road construction in the development of the scheme, and if in view of the hardships caused to the tenants concerned, he will arrange for the completion of said scheme at the earliest possible date.

The Land Commission have arranged for the completion of the roads and drains in question. The work will be put in hands as soon as the bog has dried sufficiently to permit of the work being carried out.
