The total nominal value of British Government securities held by Government Departments, the courts of justice and other agencies on 31st March, 1951, was, as I informed the Deputy on 7th instant, £56,751,000. The holdings of the individual Departments etc., are as follows:—

I do not think that the Deputy may assume anything of the sort.
Will the Minister indicate what proportion of these funds is invested in short-term loans to the British Government?
