Vol. 127 No. 5

Questions on the Adjournment.

Yesterday, I gave notice that I wished to raise the subject matter of two questions on the Adjournment. Another question was allowed. I now ask that, further, No. 17 should be taken on the Adjournment to-night. I should like to point out to you, Sir, that the Minister for External Affairs, in reply to my Question No. 64, did not state that he had no function in the matter to which the question referred. Accordingly, I would ask that the admissibility of this question upon the Adjournment should be considered for some date next week.

May I ask for permission to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 31 on yesterday's Order Paper, or alternatively, No. 32? I mentioned the matter yesterday.

In view of the unsatisfactory answer given to Question No. 33 to-day by the Minister for Local Government, I wish to give notice that I would like to raise the matter on the Adjournment, in view of the fact that rural disemployment is increasing since the reduction of these grants.

By the Coalition reduction of these grants.
