Vol. 127 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Capital Development Schemes.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) if it is the intention of the Government to float a national loan for the purposes of financing schemes of capital development; and, if not, the manner in which it is proposed to finance schemes of capital development in the current financial year.

The manner of financing Exchequer requirements, both current and capital, for the remainder of the financial year is under consideration. I am not yet in a position to make a statement in the matter.

Will the Minister make a statement to the House on the matter?

Certainly, at the appropriate time.

As long delayed as possible.
