Vol. 127 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civil Servants' Pensions.

Mr. Byrne

asked the Minister for Finance if, in view of a recent decision to increase the pensions of certain civil servants by allowing half of their unestablished service to count for superannuation purposes, he will instruct his Department to have payment of the gratuity made forthwith to those retired civil servants who are in receipt of the adjusted rate of pension as from 1st May, 1951.

The answer is in the negative.
