Vol. 127 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Delegates to Strasbourg.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will indicate the names of the Delegates travelling to the Council of Europe meeting at Strasbourg.

I assume that the meeting to which the Deputy refers is the second part of the Third Ordinary Session of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe, which opens at Strasbourg on the 26th November, 1951.

The following are the Irish representatives and substitutes:—

Representatives:

Mr. Seán MacEntee, T.D., Minister for Finance;

Mr. Gerald Boland, T.D., Minister for Justice;

Mr. William Norton, T.D., and Mr. James Crosbie.

Substitutes:

Mr. Mark Killilea, T.D.;

Mr. Denis Allen, T.D.;

Senator Professor William B. Stanford, and

Mr. Denis Ireland.

I would love to hear Deputy Killilea's contribution to that.

It would be better than yours.

He will have to brush up his French.

I would nearly travel at my own expense to hear him.
