Vol. 127 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Technical Assistance Experts.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he will consider making arrangements to ensure that technicians and experts employed on the industrial survey and other technical assistance projects planned in conjunction with E.C.A. shall have an opportunity of meeting representatives of manufacturing, business and trade union interests.

I have had inquiries made and am satisfied that existing arrangements provide all necessary opportunities for the technicians and experts to which the Deputy refers to meet the representatives of Irish manufacturing, business and trade union interests.

Can the Minister state whether he can make a grant from E.C.A. funds to pay the Clann na Poblachta Party's debt? There is a number of creditors throughout the country and there is nobody left to sue. If this is an improper question to address to the Minister, I will address it to the Minister for Social Welfare.
