Vol. 128 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Simplified Birth Certificates.

asked the Minister for Health whether he expects to be in a position to introduce proposals for legislation this session in regard to the introduction of a simplified form of birth certificate as indicated by him in reply to a question on this matter on the 17th July last; and, if not, if he will state when such proposals will be introduced.

It is expected that a Bill containing provisions to permit of the issue of a short form of birth certificate will be introduced at the commencement of the next session of the Dáil.
