Vol. 128 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erosion of Lahinch Cliff.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the cliff at Lahinch, County Clare, is in danger of subsiding due to sea erosion and as a result the main Lahinch-Miltown Malbay road may ultimately be affected; and, if so, if he will consider a scheme for preventing further erosion.

The promotion and preparation of such a scheme would be a matter for the Clare County Council. There are no proposals in connection with the matter before my Department.
