Vol. 128 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployment Assistance Benefits.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if, in view of the increased cost of living since the passing of the Unemployment Assistance Act, the Minister will consider introducing proposals for legislation to increase the benefits payable under the Act, particularly in the case of married men.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave on the 8th November last to similar questions asked by Deputies O'Donnell and Mac Fheórais.
