Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Garda Síochána Complaints.

asked the Minister for Justice if complaints have been lodged to Gardaí authorities against the sergeant of the Garda Síochána at Ferbane, County Offaly, and been investigated; and, if so, with what result.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The complaints are being investigated by the Commissioner who, under the Garda Síochána Acts and Regulations, is responsible for the discipline of the force.
