Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Supplies (Cork City).

andMr. Desmond asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he will state what progress has been made regarding the proposed pasteurisation of milk supplies, for human consumption, to the Cork City area.

Mr. Walsh

The Cork Milk Producers' Co-operative Society which proposes, with the approval of my Department, to establish a depot for pasteurisation of the Cork City milk supply informed my Department on the 30th October last that the society was engaged in collecting share capital from its members and that a full report on the progress of the project would be furnished at an early date. My Department is awaiting this report.
