Vol. 129 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Freight Rate in Kerry.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will request Córas Iompair Éireann to arrange that the present exorbitant freight for cattle and agricultural produce from Tralee to Dingle is reduced to the ordinary railway rate.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave on 4th December last to two questions on this subject, when I indicated that, while I had no function in the matter, I had asked Córas Iompair Éireann to consider certain representations which had been made concerning the incidence of transport charges in the Dingle peninsula.
