Vol. 129 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - F.C.A. Marriage Allowance.

asked the Minister for Defence if a decision to pay marriage allowance to married members of the F.C.A. undergoing training away from home has yet been taken and, if not, when it is hoped to be able to have a decision taken.

I regret that I am not at present in a position to indicate when a decision will be taken with regard to the matter to which the Deputy's question refers. The general organisation, training, etc., of F.C.A. is at present receiving detailed consideration, the results of which will have to be available before any decision can be reached.
