Vol. 129 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyhooly (County Cork) Bridge.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether he would be prepared to give a grant to Cork County Council for the re-decking of Ballyhooly bridge; and, if so, of what amount.

The selection of the specific works to be carried out with the aid of the grants made available from the Road Fund is primarily a matter for each road authority. It is open to the Cork County Council to include a scheme for the re-decking of the bridge referred to in their proposals for absorbing such grants in the coming financial year.
