Vol. 129 No. 6

Order of Business.

Business will be taken in the following order: Nos. 4, 5, 11, 7 and 6. In No. 6, Vote 51 will be taken. If public business should be concluded before 10.30, we are agreeable that the remainder of the time should be available for Private Deputies' Business.

Is it proposed to sit to-morrow?

I beg to give notice that I propose to raise on the motion for the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 10 on to-day's Order Paper.

That will be considered.

May I ask if a motion, such as that which was envisaged by the Taoiseach, is put down will the Government give time for its consideration?

I would have to see what it was about first.

If put down by the Leader of a Party it will be considered.

Its purpose will be to elicit information in regard to the discussions which took place in London and to inquire whether the Ministers representing Ireland had made adequate representations on the subjects appropriate to such discussions as were initiated.

I can say nothing more than what I have already said to the Dáil, namely, that no further information about the London conversations can be given, and no further answers can be given relating to them in extension of what I have given today. None can be given because I have already told the full extent of them.

If a motion is put down——

Deputy Dillon will not get past the Chair in that fashion. I have allowed a reasonable opportunity for supplementary questions in connection with the Private Notice Question given by Deputy Costello.

Can we ask will the Government give time for a motion?

The Deputy has already been answered on that.

I am damned if I know what the answer meant. Is the answer "no"?
