asked the Minister for Local Government if he will sanction the proposal for drainage work on the Little Brosna, near Birr, County Offaly, submitted by the Offaly County Council under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949, and if he will ensure that this work is carried out at once in view of the great importance of relieving local landowners from flooding.
