Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Workers Employed on Site Development Work (Dublin).

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the total number of workers, distinguishing as between skilled and unskilled, employed by the Corporation of Dublin on the building of dwellings and on site development work in each of the years 1949 to 1951, inclusive.

The numbers of workers employed in connection with housing work undertaken for the Corporation of Dublin vary from time to time during each year. The numbers so employed on 31st December in each of the three years 1949, 1950 and 1951 were:—

1,659, 1,901 and 1,419 skilled workers and 1,542, 1,451 and 1,334 unskilled workers.
