Vol. 129 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Portrane Protective Wall.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether his Department received particulars of a scheme prepared by Dublin County Council seeking sanction for the construction of a protective wall at the Brook, Portrane, Donabate; and, if so, if he is now in a position to sanction the execution of this work.

Proposals for the construction of a sea wall at Portrane have been submitted by the county council under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949. The county council has been asked to furnish further information on the actual works proposed and on the soil conditions which have to be dealt with.
