Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in regard to the Coffey and O'Gorman estates at Birdhill, County Tipperary (a) the total area comprised in these two estates; (b) the length of time these estates have been in the possession of the Land Commission; (c) for what purpose these lands are being utilised by the Land Commission, and (d) when it is proposed to divide and allocate these two estates.

Possession was obtained of the estates in question comprising in all 396 acres, on 17th January, 1950, and 24th January, 1951. The estates are at present unlet as the Land Commission expect to be in a position to allot most of the lands this month.
