asked the Minister for Finance if he will give in each case detailed particulars of the estimated expenditure on below-the-line capital issues amounting to (a) £22,000,000 in the current financial year and (b) £26,000,000 in the coming financial year.

Details of actual issues for below-the-line expenditure in 1951-52 and of estimated requirements for 1952-53 will be given in the White Paper of receipts and expenditure which will be published prior to the Budget.
The Exchequer statement published in Iris Oifigiúil of the 18th March, 1952, gives particulars of capital issues below the line between 1st April, 1951, and 15th March, 1952. The total of these issues at the latter date was £20.8 million. The details of these issues for the current year and for the period 1st April, 1950, to 17th March, 1951, are as follows:—
