Vol. 130 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civil Servants in Politics.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the procedure to be adopted by Deputies making complaints with regard to civil servants taking an active part in politics before, during or after a general election, to what authority these officials should be reported and if it is necessary to make complaints in writing.

If the Deputy desires to make a complaint of the nature specified he should address it to the head of the officer's department. It is desirable that the complaint should be made in writing and the full facts and circumstances of the case should be indicated.
